What would you do if you were faced with a 2 week prognosis? Our VIP Mr Michael chose to surround himself with his family, go fishing, and cap off the day with a cold one.

Mr. Michael was nominated by the Critical Care Team at Our Lady of the Lake. His trip was made possible by Captain Matt McCabe, who ran a trip for us on very short notice.

Did you know Santa enjoyed fishing? Mr. Fred Parker, also known as the “New Orleans Santa” spent his life giving back to the children of southern Louisiana. We were honored to host him for a Dose of the Coast in Empire, Louisiana.

Captain Matt McCabe has been a loyal captain of Dose of the Coast over the past 5 years. How he became involved is an interesting story came to the rescue of Dose of the Coast early one morning when one of our scheduled fishing charter captains fell ill unexpectedly overnight.
